Exempt Non-Exempt SUMMARY Under the direction of the Team Leader, the Rack Roller is responsible for placing processed textile donations in the proper area and categories on the sales floor.
Primary duties include maintaining the cleanliness of the sales floor, providing world-class customer service, and promptly restocking product on the sales floor.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Rotate merchandise on a timely basis and in accordance with established procedures and bring merchandise to the sales floor in a timely manner.
Place all merchandise in appropriate textile categories in accordance with merchandising policies and procedures.
Assist in textile color rotation per established procedure.
Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly, and professional attitude; provide prompt, efficient, and accurate customer service at all times.
Direct customers to the proper area and provide general information as requested.
Stay alert and watch for shoplifting; notify store management of suspicious activity.
Keep the sales floor and production area clean and safe.
Maintain a well-groomed appearance and appropriate dress code, including a name badge and vest.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Refer all customer complaints to management in a timely manner.
Answer telephone promptly using established etiquette procedure.
Follow Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) procedures and other Public Protection Guidelines.
React calmly and respond to emergency situations.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader.

Education and/or
Experience:
High School education or equivalent is preferred.
Previous retail experience is highly preferred.
Math Ability:
Level 1:
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Computer Skills:
No computer skills are required for this position.
