Tech Support 1 technician provides in-person and remote support for computers, networks, Microsoft operating systems, printers, desktops/laptops, and peripherals.
This position will manage a daily ticket queue, escalate as needed, and advance their technical knowledge base to provide excellent helpdesk technical support.

Responsibilities:
Work as part of a team to manage and respond to local and remote helpdesk tickets.
Respond to ticket requests via phone, in person, and remote session software.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to computers, networks, printers, phones, internet, and more.
Properly adhere to helpdesk guidelines on ticket management/completeness and escalate when necessary.
Make software changes as needed to keep staff operational.
Utilize excellent customer service.
Proper ticket documentation for future reference and tracking.
Provide onsite technical assistance to office staff.
Research technical questions when needed.
Potential for minor regional travel in Texas 5%.
Work Experience, Skills and Other Requirements:
Display working knowledge of fundamental IT resources in use including software, hardware, and other equipment.
Proficiency in Windows operating systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and associated product stack.
Perform desktop/laptop, peripheral, camera, and other device repair.
Base understanding of IP networks and Wi-Fi.
Related experience in ticketing systems.
Excellent communication.
Exposure to Active Directory.
Ability to support known and unknown software applications.
Efficiency in timely response to daily ticket queues.
Degree in IS preferred, but not required.
Certifications a plus.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
